Southern Food and Beverage Museum
The Southern Food and Beverage (SOFAB) Museum is a real museum that I chose to rebrand. I chose this museum to rebrand because I like eating food (haha...).
Behind the story of the logo
There were multiple brainstorms I had with SOFAB's logo. When I thought of "southern," I thought of a "homey" feeling that is portrayed in other southern restaurants' logos. After many failed iterations, I took the time think about what I could see in a southern food restaurant/diner: fried chicken (yes, I said it), utensils, and those square disposable napkins. When I saw a napkin turned in a way (that is seen in the logo), it looked a compass to me. As a result, I gave an arrow on the bottom to represent "south."
